Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament - June


Stay in shape and get outside this summer with the Gus Macker Basketball Tournament in Linden! This sporting event travels across the nation, bringing communities and business together through a mutual love of sports, activity, and good ol’ fashioned fun! All ages and skill levels are welcome to take part and receive player t-shirts and bags generously filled with goodies from a multitude of local businesses! Spectators and supporters certainly don’t have to miss out on the fun, as a range of special event activities are available to partake in, as well as delicious food, refreshing beverages, and displays from local vendors.

Sponsor Opportunities

Presenting sponsor (max. 3) $5,000
  • Logo on each side of portable basket
  • Logo on front of all Team Registration postcards (approx. 5,000) as “Presenting” sponsor
  • Logo on promotional poster (approx. 100) as “Presenting” sponsor
  • Logo and advertisement in Gusette Newspaper distributed in the Tri-County Times and to all players
  • Logo on back of 800 t-shirts given to all players and volunteers
  • Ten 30-second audio commercials per day over tournament PA system on-site
  • Opportunity to insert promotional item/coupon in registration packets given to all players
  • Promoted as presenting sponsor in all press releases
  • Three complimentary teams in tournament
  • Use of “Gus Macker” name, logo, video footage, and song in advertising, retail promotions, sales meetings, collateral support materials, promotional items etc.

Special Events sponsor (max. 2) $2,500
  • Sponsorship exclusive of Special Event Court, with appropriate signage at the court
  • Logo on all Team Registration postcards
  • Logo on advertisement for Special Events in Gusette Newspaper distributed in the Tri-County Times and to all players
  • Signage at registration of Special Events
  • On-site space to display, sample, and/or sell product
  • Five 30-second audio commercials per day over tournament PA system on-site
  • Opportunity to insert promotional item/coupon in registration packets given to all players
  • Included in all Special Event press releases
  • Use of “Gus Macker” name, logo, video footage, and song in advertising, retail promotions, sales meetings, collateral support material, promotional items, etc.

Bracket sponsor $750
  • Logo and mention of sponsorship in Gusette Newspaper distributed in the Tri-County Times and to all players
  • Logo on signage displayed in the Bracket area, logo on stickers attached to all Bracket displays
  • Opportunity to have item(s) in player registration packets (e.g. coupon, promotional item etc.)
  • On-site space to display or sample product
  • Business name will be listed in the program distributed at the event
  • One complimentary team in tournament
  • Three 30-second commercials per day over tournament PA system
Court sponsor (max. 15) $500
  • Company/business name on a  2ft. by 8ft. banner on a court
  • Logo and mention of sponsorship in Gusette Newspaper distributed in the Tri-County Times and to all players
  • Two 30-second commercials per day over tournament PA system
  • Opportunity to have item(s) in player registration packet (e.g. coupon, promotional item etc.)
  • On-site space to display or sample product
  • One (1) complimentary team entry in the tournament (any division)
  • Business name will be listed in the program distributed at the event
Kids Zone sponsor (max. 6) $300
  • Logo and mention of sponsorship in Gusette Newspaper in the Tri-County Times and to all players
  • Logo on signage displayed in the Kids Zone area
  • Opportunity to have item(s) in player registration packets (e.g. coupon, promotional items etc.)
  • On-site space to display or sample product, signage at the event
Food Booths (max. 4) $250
  • Business name and menu in Gusette Newspaper distributed in Tri-County Times and to all players
  • Food vendors will be listed on program distributed at the event
  • Electricity is available
  • A 10x20ft. area in Food Courtyard will be provided
*Food vendors cannot sell pop, water or Gatorade at the event. Food vendors must get permits and licenses, if required, at their own expense (required if cooking on-site). Food vendors must provide own food truck and/or pop-up tents, prep tables and supplies. Food vendors must provide liability insurance.
